Do It Yourself (or with an accountant)?

If they do have any questions, Sage One includes free 24hr telephone and email support as part of the low-cost monthly subscription (from just £5 per month).
However, if they do have an accountant or bookkeeper, Sage One allows them to login to the system at the same time to check all the information is correct, divide the work up into manageable chunks, or submit VAT returns on behalf of the business owner.
VAT Registered or Cash Basis business?
If you’re VAT Registered, want to email invoices to clients and see more detailed reports, then Sage One Accounts is the one for you. (It also integrates seamlessly with Sage Pay, our eCommerce system plus a wide range of 3rd party add-ons).
Alternatively, Sage One Cashbook is ideal for sole traders and cash-basis businesses with less complex needs although their accountant or bookkeeper can still submit VAT returns for them by logging in to their system via their Sage One Accountant Edition.
