The benefits of Sage One Payroll
Simple to use
The intuitive design of the service makes it easy to use, so there’s no need for any training. You can use Sage One Payroll even if you don’t have any previous experience of using payroll software. Printing payslips becomes effortless with Sage One Payroll.
Stay up to date
With Sage One Payroll you’ll never have anything to install, and because it’s online you don’t have to worry about legislation updates either. For example, if there’s a change to the minimum wage, we update things, so your payroll is always up to date. That means you’re always complying with the law and gives you one less thing to worry about.
Process your pay runs
Process your weekly and monthly pay runs in 4 easy steps. Sage One guides you through, making the process as simple as possible. Even if you have no previous payroll experience, you could be managing pay runs and printing out payslips in no time.
Manage payroll for 5, 10 or 15 employees
Sage One Payroll automatically calculates payments and deductions, such as tax and National Insurance, so you know you’re paying the right rates. Managing your employees couldn’t be easier. Record details of staff sickness, maternity or paternity absence and access all your employee information in just a few clicks.
Easy to make corrections
If you make a mistake, you’ll find Sage One Payroll is very forgiving. Say you’ve underpaid an employee in a previous pay run, for example. Simply make the change to that pay run and all the calculations are automatically updated and carried through to the current pay run.
Get ahead for Payroll Year End
Take the hassle out of Payroll Year End submissions. With Sage One Payroll, you can run reports to check employees’ pay history details before you create your files to submit. Helping you make sure things are as they should be and avoiding any last minute hiccups.
And submitting your payroll returns online to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is easy and painless too. Sage One Payroll records all the information you need in the right format to help your submission go smoothly.
Save time working on your accounts
If you’re already using Sage One Accounts or Sage One Cashbook you’ll be pleased to know that Sage One Payroll integrates with both seamlessly. This will save you even more time by posting your pay information directly into Cashbook or Accounts, removing the need for you to do it manually.
Work with your accountant online
Working with an accountant is a breeze with Sage One. Your registered Sage One accountant can access your payroll information online at any time. If there are certain aspects of payroll you’d prefer to leave to them, you can. They can log in and see the same data as you, meaning you no longer need to send information back and forth. And you get to decide how much control and input you have.
The benefits of Sage One
Why are we offering Sage One Payroll for FREE until July 2012?
We know that starting and growing a business is hard work, and times are challenging at the moment. We want to show our support for UK and Irish start-ups and growing businesses.
We think that offering Sage One Payroll for free for the first six months of 2012 is a great way for owner-managers to take that first step into hiring people without having to make a capital investment.
Once our free online payroll offer is over, our monthly pricing plans are affordable, with no up-front costs.
What happens once the special offer is over?
Our free online payroll offer runs until July 2012, which means you won't pay a penny for online payroll until then. That's completely free, with no catches.
If you're a Sage One Accounts or Cashbook customer, we'll already have your payment details so you won't need to do a thing. If you've decided that you don't want to continue using Sage One Payroll, all you need to do is cancel your payroll subsciption in the Service Settings area in Sage One. We'll be sad to see you go, but we'd love to hear any feedback you might have.
If you're only using Sage One Payroll and want to continue using the service after the special offer period has ended, you will need to provide your billing details. But don't worry, we'll send you a reminder in June so you know what to do.
