    Detailed Stock Movement Report

    We’re keeping the stock improvements coming! You can now drill down on the Stock Movement Report to see the individual movements of items as opposed to just totals.

    • Fixed: Other Receipts and Payments were not being transferred to certain reports when created before 23 Nov 2016. This is no longer the case.
    • Fixed: Addresses are now displayed neatly within a DL envelope’s window when using the Onyx template - they’re no longer cut off. Sorry about that!
    • Fixed: Leaving date fields blank on some reports could case a 500 error - we’ve fixed that.

    • Fixed: When choosing from lists of Products and Services, they were displayed in the order they were created in the system. Now they’re in either item code or description order, based on your preference in “Record and Transaction Settings”. That’s better!
    • Fixed: You can now switch between regional address formats when setting up a delivery address for a Contact.
    • Fixed: You can now unallocate a receipt from an invoice, turn it into a Payment on Account, and set its VAT rate without seeing the Loch Ness Monster.
    • Fixed: If you were editing an invoice that had inactive items, you could still edit its VAT Rate and Analysis Types, when they should be read only.
    • Fixed: There was a weird bug that changed the average cost price if you edited a date on a stock movement. Not any more!
    • Fixed: Now and then an error was shown when raising a Purchase Credit Note from a Purchase Invoice. We’ve tracked down the problem.
    • Fixed: Sales and Purchase Credit Notes are now being displayed correctly as negatives on the Stock Movement Report.
    • Fixed: Dates in the Customer Statement Run dialog were shown on a new line. That didn’t look very nice, so we fixed it.

    Inventory

    You can now manage stock items in Sage One!

    • Create or import stock items and specify your usual supplier, reorder details, location, barcode and weight.
    • Assign Products and Services to categories, with up to 4 levels.
    • Automatically update stock quantities as you raise invoices and credit notes.
    • Manually update stock quantities when you do a stock take or items are written off.
    • Get stock level warnings when you reach the re-order level.
    • See summary information such as stock levels, last cost and average cost.
    • See detailed information such as Goods In and Out.

    Item Categories

    You can now create categories and assign them to stock, non-stock and service items. You can nest categories allowing you to create up to 4 levels deep and then filter your items by category allowing you to find things quickly.

    VAT Warning

    When you raise an invoice line with "No VAT", you now get a helpful warning message with guidance on when this should be used, including a link to tax authority guidance. This warning can be dismissed for expert users.

    Trial Balance Report

    The periodic trial balance report is now part of the main trial balance report, with a new option to only show the current years profit and loss. This includes the ability to drill down on your debits and credits, to either the nominal activity detail or the profit and loss report.

    We've extended e-mail suggestions to editing a customer or supplier. The e-mail address is now checked for common mistakes and Sage One may suggest an alternative. Simply click the suggestion to accept it, but you can also ignore the suggestion if you prefer.

    We've now changed the behaviour of the Save button when entering Invoices, Quotations and Estimates. Instead of being taken to the relevant list, you're now shown a view of the document you've just created. From here you can easily choose (where appropriate) to Print, Email, Copy, Create a Shipping Note, Record a Payment or Add another.

    Multi-Select Documents for Print / Email

    You can now select upto 15 Invoices, Credit Notes, Quotations & Estimates and email them in one go or create a single PDF. Useful if you need to resend invoices to a customer, or perhaps print all the invoices entered today in one go.

    Email Remittance Advices

    We've now added the ability to send Remittance Advices directly to your suppliers. Just click 'Email Remittance Advice', and its done.

    Advanced Menu

    The menu in Sage One is designed for users who are now familiar with Accounting terms. If you're a user who understands concepts like 'Sales Ledger', then you can now choose an alternative menu structure where features are grouped by Accounting Ledgers. This is ideal for Accountants and Book-Keepers.

    Delivery Notes

    You can now create a delivery (or shipping) note for Invoices, these have no financial values, just the details required to ship goods, and also have options to include a signature area for confirmation of receipt.

    Copy Emails to Contact

    You can now set multiple contact email addresses to be added to an email. This is useful if you need to send Invoices to multiple people at the same Customer.

    Detailed Nominal Activity (BETA)

    A full breakdown of Nominal Activity can now be created as either a PDF for printing, or as a CSV file to use with another program such as GoogleSheets or Excel.

    VAT Return Status

    Automatic Product Price Selection

    Split Transactions

    You can now split transactions across multiple ledger accounts whilst importing bank statements . For example where a card payment at a garage covers fuel and food, the single statement line can be split against two different expense ledger accounts.
