Features
The benefits of Sage One Accountant Edition
Sage One is a focused solution supporting accountants and their micro or small business clients. You can view all of your Sage One clients in one place, making it easy to manage and access. Sage One encourages your clients to enter their own data using a simple, jargon-free interface. You can easily access demo data, allowing you to guide your clients through Sage One without posting transactions on their account.
Your client’s data online
It’s Friday afternoon, the last working day to submit your client’s VAT return and unfortunately they’ve not dropped off their invoices and receipts. You’ve tried to call them, got no reply, sent them an email but to no avail. Just think, if all their accounts information was online you wouldn’t have to worry.
Sage One Accountant Edition gives you access to your clients’ data immediately, helping you get closer to your clients.
Easy reporting functions
Using Sage One Accountant Edition, you can run a nominal activity report to see the detail behind your clients’ finances and export it as a CSV file. It also gives you the option of exporting the trial balance report into a format that is easily imported into Sage Accounts Production and Sage Accounts Production Advanced or you can carry out basic accounting tasks such as producing a VAT return, profit and loss report, trial balance report and a balance sheet report within Sage One Accounts/Accountant Edition.
Simple setup
From within your Client List you can setup a client quickly and easily – fill out the form with their business details and Sage One sends them an email. All they have to do is click the link and they can start using it straight away. If your client is already using Sage One, they can connect with you. Just give them the email address you used to register with Sage One.
Access your client’s data
From your client list you can access your client;s data in a matter of seconds. From within the summary screen you can record notes against each client, for example, ‘remind them of the tax deadline’. Over the course of the financial year you can keep track of their finances and perhaps get fewer surprises at year end.
Accountants can also ‘lock down’ a client’s account, restricting the dates they can enter a transaction, giving you more control when working with them around year end.
Customise your clients Chart of Accounts
When your clients use a Sage One service, we don’t show them the nominal code numbers or anything too daunting like assets or liabilities. But as their accountant, you can customise the nominal categories to present your clients with a tailored Chart of Accounts using language that’s right for them.
